Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Facial Injections

Platelet-rich fibrin injections provide an all-natural alternative for reducing signs of aging, achieving youthful volume, and rejuvenating the skin.

Your blood contains plasma, red blood cells, and platelets. Platelets cause the plasma to clot, forming fibrin. During this process, regenerative growth factors are released. These growth factors trigger new cell growth, stimulate collagen production and elastin formation, and achieve new blood vessel ingrowth.

How does PRF work?

Similarly to PRP, a small amount of blood is drawn from the arm and put into a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells (which have no regenerative abilities). The fibrin and platelets are allowed to clot.

The clot has all of the rich platelets and growth factors. This substance is widely used by dentists to put in the gums after a tooth extraction or by orthopedic surgeons to cover a wound. However, it’s too big or thick to inject.

Dr Becker’s micronizer

As the fat cells are broken down, oil is released. This concentrates the cellular matrix, known as the Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF). This matrix contains collagen and stem cells.
