Upper Lip Lift (Shortening)
One of the early signs of ageing is lengthening and drooping of the upper lip. Patients are bothered by an excessively long upper lip and the effect on the smile. The long upper lip hides the normal show of the upper teeth when smiling.
The upper lip lift is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. An incision is made under the nose and the excess skin removed .The resultant scar is small and well hidden in the nose crease.
There is usually some swelling for about 48 hours. The sutures are removed in 4-5 days
